The GRASAG Senate is the highest legislative and decision-making body of Graduate Students across all Universities in Ghana. At the 2026 Senate, UniMAC-GRASAG achieved an unprecedented milestone, leaving KNUST with four (4) major national appointments, namely: Chair, Monitoring & Evaluation Committee – Mr. Daniel Ofori Asante (KODA); Deputy Chair, Projects & Programmes Committee – Ms. Matilda Mensah Marfo (Tilly); Member, Gender Commission – Ms. Mabel Tettey and Member, Publicity Committee – Mr.  Mohammed Tauphic.

These appointments for UniMAC-GRASAG reflect the hard work and dedication demonstrated by the KODA-Don Johnson administration since taking office.  Speaking at the end of the Senate, the UniMAC-GRASSAG President, KODA, had these to say. “This is a monumental victory for UniMAC, establishing a strong foundation with the hope that future administrations will build on this momentum to secure National Executive Council (NEC) positions in the near future”.
