I welcome you to the Centre for International Relations (CIR) of UniMAC. Our primary objective is to establish quality teaching and learning relations with our international students and partners through sustainable collaborations with international universities, academics, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs. Together, we aim to foster the holistic development of the University.
The Centre works in tandem with the Vice-Chancellor and the Rectors of the constituent institutes of the University to oversee the operations of all international alliances and initiatives. It collaborates with Faculties and Departments to support global initiatives and work with organisations for international education programmes and activities. Also, the centre seeks to collaborate with Quality Assurance Unit, Department of Research, Innovation, and Development (DRID), Finance, Audit, and Compliance, and the Counseling Office to ensure adherence to international quality standards and ethical practices.
At UniMAC, we value the presence of international students and partners, and we recognise their important role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning at the University. Our doors are widely open to welcoming new international students, new partners and visitors from all parts of the world. The Centre provides a sense of community for the international populace and our staff are committed to providing quality support services to our international students and partners.
The Centre is looking forward to developing non-curricular programme opportunities to offer students. Programmes such as UniMAC International Week, UniMAC Creative Cave and SDG’s Programmes to foster meaningful and productive engagement.

The Centre aims to expand the international experience on the University Campuses by providing one stop-shop services to all international students, partners and visitors needs. The services are:
UniMAC which is located in a prime area in the city center of Accra, Ghana, provides welcoming conducive educational and safe environment to international students who would like to have global experiences with promised job prospects through our professional degree and masters’ programmes.
International applicants who intend to enrol in a full or part-time programmes should go through the following simple steps to complete the application form.
A non-refundable application processing fee of $100 for undergraduates and $150 for post-graduate must be paid directly to our foreign account before you can get access to the online application forms. The Bank will provide the applicant with a serial number and a pin to obtain access to the online admission portal. Applicants have to fill in their online application form and upload all documents by clicking on the link. https://admissions.unimac.edu.gh/
After receiving complete documents and all other requirements fulfilled, a letter of admission will be issued for payment of fees and student visa application. You are then required to go to the nearest Ghana Embassy in your home country to obtain a Student Visa.
